A leading global manufacturer of materials within Electonics and General Industries. My Client is a growing business in need of an experienced Business Unit Manager to join the team.The Role
The Business Unit Manager will be responsible to lead the Telecommunications and General Industry Business Unit. The position also has European responsibility for the product lines. The primary purpose of the role is to profitably grow the business by effectively leading and directing the planning, manufacturing, and marketing of product lines developed for telecoms and general industrial markets. The position has direct responsibility for P&L of the business unit, developing and growing sales, optimising profit and meeting marketing, financial, and corporate growth objectives.
The Candidate
Experience within a sales environment -
Experience working in a similar role and environment or experience in a technical customer facing role, together with significant operational experience and a track record of delivering results.
Educated to degree level or simillar within Engineering
A background in manufacturing with a sound knowledge of the electronics market is preferable.
Ideally an understanding of EMI/Thermal Material technology (desireable)
Experience working in the Telecommunications Market is essential.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The Salary
