Job Description
The Group Fitness Instructor teaches one-on-one lessons and group classes to our clientele. Works with Mayo employees and their affiliates focusing on a healthy population. Is responsible for class instruction at all levels as well as offering suggestions for new classes appropriate for the DAHLC population. Must be mindful of all class participants and acknowledge various fitness and skill levels and tailor the class in an appropriate manner. Must be customer service oriented and possess good verbal communication skills and enthusiasm. #

Water
Basic Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required. Must be certified, by an accredited organization, to teach group fitness classes and hold a current CPR or Basic Life Support certification.
Other Qualifications:
A minimum of two years instructing is preferred.
License or Certification:

Exemption Status: Non-exempt
Hours/Pay Period: Supplemental - Varied Hours
Schedule Details: Supplemental - Varied Hours
Weekend Schedule: As Needed
Compensation Detail: Non-exempt = Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended. The minimum pay rate is $15.30 per hour.
