Job Description
Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses and other allied health staff to provide all aspects of high quality patient care for adult and occasional pediatric plastic surgery patients. Provides patient care in the outpatient direct clinic by performing independent pre and post operative assessment, coordination of patient care and patient management for a variety of plastic surgery indications. Provision of care includes, but is not limited to, comprehensive physical assessment, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and assisting in the operating room as delegated by the supervising surgeon. Educate and counsel patients and their families. A high level of autonomy is expected.

Basic Qualifications:
Masters prepared graduate of an accredited school of nursing and nurse practitioner program. Current Minnesota RN license and certification, or eligible to be certified, as an ANP, ACNP, or FNP certification must be obtained within 6 months of employment date). Or graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program with current PA certification by the NCCPA and registration as a PA by the Minnesota State Board of Medical Practice. The NP/PA must be eligible for DEA registration.

Other Qualifications:
Strong written and oral communication skills are required and must have demonstrated skill in working collaboratively with all members of the healthcare team. Please submit resume and 2 letters of reference.

Weekend Schedule:

Compensation Detail: Salaried - Education, experience, and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended. The minimum salary every two weeks is approximately $3308 based on a full-time position.
