Well-established, prestigious US trading company located in Irvine is urgently seeking a President to join the team and propel the company to the next level! In need of a visionary to run the team!
The company offers various canned products (such as mandarin oranges, tropical fruits, and mushrooms), fruit cups, juice concentrates, and gummy candy to our B2B customers in retails, food services and industries. The company is also in the process to acquire a majority stake in a dried fruit business in the US which will strengthen the range of product offering to our B2B customers and provide tremendous opportunity for revenue and profit growth of the business unit.
The company is looking for a President to head the business unit in the US.
Summary:
T-he primary roles and responsibilities of the business unit president are to achieve overall profitability targets and ability to grow the trading business. He is able to demonstrate a full understanding of how to drive profitable growth whilst controlling cost.
- President must be willing to be a hands-on manager and have a strong familiarity with the industry. He has to engage in the operation fully to provide leadership support to his direct reports to maximize the business potential of the company. He has to be personally involved with key account customers and to build strong relationships with customers. This position is directly accountable for all activities of the business unit. The president of the business unit establishes long term plans, strategies and policies that in line with the corporate directions. Competencies (skills & knowledge):
The successful candidate will have an entrepreneurial spirit that can help lead the Board to develop and maintain a clear road map and at the same time be open to adjustments. He/she needs to be passionate and aggressive in leading, while remaining sensitive to stakeholders and B2B customers.
