The Company
Our client is a new breed of marketing company based in Newark this company apply the latest technologies in combination with more traditional marketing methods to maximize sales and ultimately profits. Helping their clients improve communication with their customers, prospects, suppliers and other industry bodies. They take a consultative approach and integrate a range of communications services to achieve maximum effect. They are looking for an Account Manager to work with a number of their prestigious clients (IT companies).
The Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the successful implementation of all clients lead generation and direct marketing campaigns. Ensuring that each campaign provides good quality data, that all direct marketing activity including email, direct mail and telesales meet their client’s needs. You will be responsible for reporting all results to clients and ensuring that we meet the expectations set during the sale. Typically contracts range between 6-12 months so a degree of the job will be account management and ensuring the client re-signs.
The Person:
The successful candidate will have experience of business to business direct marketing or sales lead generation campaigns, ideally within the IT industry. They will have an understanding of email marketing, telesales, campaign management and marketing databases. You will be highly motivated, well organised work well on their own as well as within a group have good presentation skills with the ability to understand data, databases and reporting.
Part of the job will be client facing so a smart appearance, confident outgoing manner, good personal skills and excellent presentation skills are vital.
The ideal candidate will have:
* Ideally degree educated or with practical equivalent experience. * Sound experience in a Marketing Campaign / PR / Account managing role working with business clients. * Good experience & knowledge of e-mail / direct marketing techniques with creative approach to writing effective messages. * Excellent written and oral communication skills with strong IT skills. * Client facing - day to day client contact for projects.
