Our client operates a diverse portfolio of quality Food and Community pubs that span across England and Wales.
Catering within their business has become increasingly important over the last 3 years with their customers demanding high quality, value for money food as a key part of their pub experience. This, coupled with their continuing pub development programme, means there is a greater need than ever to ensure that their Retail Managers and kitchen staff receive the support and development they need.
A key part of your role as a Kitchen Trainer will be to deliver pre-opening training to ensure we coach and develop their kitchen staff to the highest standard following a refurbishment or a new opening. You will also play a crucial part in supporting site enhancement through offering additional advice, coaching and training to the existing kitchen teams. Alongside this you will help support the development and rollout of a kitchen specific induction programme, the formation of a kitchen development programme and other catering course delivery.
The successful candidate must have knowledge and experience of working in a busy kitchen and ideally hold a training qualification. However it is more important that you simply possess a passion for developing people and have the drive and determination to make a difference to catering support and development. Some training experience is a necessity.
These are full time roles with some weekend and evening work involved, as well as occasional nights away from home. As this role is field based you must have the ability to travel across our estate on a regular basis.
