Rare opportunity with a Specialist Pump Manufacturer, part of an international group, based in Bedfordshire, for a General Manager, with excellent short term promotional prospects. Ideally you will have experience running a small specialised manufacturing facility and have Sales and Marketing capabilities.
The Company
The company is involved in the design and supply of gear pumps for use on Diesel and Gas Engines, and in the filtration, process and offshore industries. It specialises in providing bespoke designs to leading manufacturers in these industries.
The Role
As Dept General Manager you would be expected to: • In cooperation with the General Manager manage and coordinate all activates necessary to achieve business performance in line with plan with personal responsibility for developing sales via key accounts and markets • Implementation of a rolling 3 year Business Plan covering all the major aspects of the business, including: Health & Safety, Sales & Marketing, Product Development, Operations, Quality, Human Resources and Financial Performance • Provide day to day leadership of the team.
Capabilities, experience and education
The applicant would be expected to have the following capabilities and education: • A degree in a suitable and relevant discipline. • Experience in management in an engineering environment. • A flexible ‘hands on’ approach.
Remuneration Package
