Our client is a well established, fast growing, worldwide distribution company based in Chertsey, Surrey. An opportunity has arisen for an Export Administrator / Shipping Clerk to join their team.
As an Export Administrator / Shipping Clerk you will be responsible for assisting the Department Manager in the daily running of their busy export department.
In this position you will be responsible for:
- general shipping - producing invoicing and export documentation - liaising with customers and freight forwarders over the telephone - general administrative duties - photocopying, faxing, emailing, filing
To succeed as the Export Administrator / Shipping Clerk you must have some experience in shipping, and a strong command of English, both spoken and written. You will also need good numeracy skills, great attention to detail, and the ability to work in a team.
Additionally, you should be able to work to deadlines, and you will need knowledge of MS Office.
