Location: Canning Town, London The Operations Manager is responsible for the whole operation, which includes managing the night duty staff and ensuring the smooth delivery of services to residents, staff and visitors.
You will also be responsible for ensuring the security of staff and residents overnight and dealing with any issues and any anti-social behaviour which may arise.
You will: •establish objectives, procedures, standards and priorities and ensure they are implemented and adhered to; •ensure effective provision of helpdesk, switchboard, reception and administrative support; •contribute to a high performance/ high commitment customer service environment ensuring quality of service provided meets the needs of both clients and visitors.
The ideal candidate will: •be a team player, with demonstrable leadership skills; •have the ability to interact and communicate effectively with a wide variety of people at all levels; •have experience of managing people and handling conflict situations; •be diplomatic, patient, proactive, flexible and able to work under pressure; •be able to work evenings and weekends on rota; •preferably have a military / forces background; •demonstrate a sporting interest and be able to manage a football team.
Working hours: Wed to Sun – 16h00 to 24h00 (subject to amendment)
