A multifaceted global corporation with headquarters in the USA, the company produces greetings cards, gift-wrappings and other personal expression products in more than 30 languages for markets in more than 100 countries. They are the exclusive supplier of card and gift products to a major retail company in the UK. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join the Supply Chain Team. This varied and challenging role within the Supply Chain team will have responsibility for analysing and monitoring weekly production and declaration of stock to a major retail client, co-coordinating rework and packing operations, as well as providing a good level of administrative support to the Supply Chain team. Attention to detail is essential, as your data inputting will require 100% accuracy to avoid unnecessary cost to the business. You will be trained up on the company systems, which you will use on a frequent basis to raise purchase orders, access shipment information and review production data. In addition, Excel and communication skills are a must in order to successfully perform this role. Preferably educated to A-Level standard (or equivalent), previous office experience, reliability and flexibility are essential to ensure you provide effective support for this busy team.
