Our company is a subsidiary of a business regeneration organisation in NW London, serving one of Europe's largest industrial locations. We are a first-choice provider of a wide range of recruitment and training and development services. We are now expanding the portfolio of our services and the role of Learning and Development Manager, L&D Manager has been created in order to fulfil challenging business targets.
You will play a significant role in changing clients’ attitudes to learning and development in their organization. You will develop a portfolio of services from sophisticated Organizational and Individual Training Needs Analysis tools to bespoke L & D solutions delivered through a network of external expert suppliers. It will be your responsibility to attract new clients and to manage these relationships professionally and profitably. In addition, you will be accountable for the performance of a small (but expanding) internal team who will support you in the delivery of the Unit’s objectives.
You need to have an excellent track record in business development coupled with in-depth knowledge of cutting-edge L & D techniques.

Learning and Development Manager, L&D Manager Required Skills:Full Job Description
PURPOSE This role exists in order to provide, through the L & D team, a range of world-class Learning and Development services to business clients, ensuring that our company is viewed as a first-choice provider of such services, resulting in a significant contribution to the Group's profitability and reputation. The focus of the Unit is to generate fee income through the provision of ONA/TNA services which, in turn, lead to brokered delivery of bespoke solutions using preferred external suppliers.
PERSON SPECIFICATION •Educated to degree level, preferably Business Studies or Management qualification and/or CIPD or similar training qualification. •Minimum 2 years’ experience in operational team management role, including budgetary control. •Commercial awareness – able to understand quickly the nature of work in a client organization, identify L & D issues and exploit sources of profitable business for the company. •Some experience of the public sector, bidding and contract delivery. •Excellent track record in business and client development. •Experience in managing change and coaching staff. •Excellent project management skills •Some experience of the public sector preferable. •Substantial experience of using best practices in training and organizational development (gained either in-house or in an agency/consultancy environment). •Licensed to Level B in psychometric testing. •Strong IT skills in Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Access
