THE COMPANY Our Client is the UK's largest wholesale distributor to multiple and independent retailers. They are growing all the time and are therefore looking for self motivated people to join the business.
THE JOB They are currently looking to recruit a Production Supervisor, on the Night Shift, to assist in ensuring the efficient assembly, checking, packing, loading, and invoicing of customer orders for next day delivery. You will also be responsible for the motivation and development of others. This will mean the need to work with the Branch Management on identifying and raising skill levels, briefing and involving staff to achieve the overall aims of the Branch.
ABOUT YOU The successful applicant will possess excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills, and they must have the ability to work effectively when under pressure. You will also need to have the ability to identify changing operational needs, taking immediate action to maximise available resources. IT skills would be an advantage as the role involves the use of spreadsheets, Work, and other central computer systems to record and find out information.
Full time hours will be Sunday to Thursday, 10.00pm to 6.00am; however, due to the nature of this position, a flexible approach to working hours is necessary.
