THE POSITION This exciting role will see the successful candidate being responsible for delivery of bespoke software solutions for our varied range of clients. You will have solid experience in managing software projects with a proven track record of successful project delivery. Working closely with the internal stakeholders, you will work on projects for business units in the UK and potentially across Europe. THE OPPORTUNITY This is an opportunity to work in a rapidly evolving technical environment which promotes the sharing knowledge within the development team as you learn new skills.
The role will involve managing numerous projects with different budgets. Report on the status of each project/activity to both internal management and the client. Report on the profitability of each project and suggest efficiency improvements Direct and coordinate activities of the project team to ensure on time, on budget delivery. Understand internal & external compliance requirements to ensure projects comply with our ISO9001 procedures. Be involved in the fine tuning of those procedures over time. Delivery of solutions that exceed the expectations of the client.
Development / IT Project Manager Required Skills: EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Business degree or similar. PRINCE2 or other relevant qualification advantageous 2-3+ years in client service or business Additional relevant experience may substitute for some of the education requirements A driven, highly motivated individual looking to progress in a fast-paced, unique business environment A methodical, analytical & logical approach to problem solving with an eye for detail Willingness to work very hard to achieve the highest level of service & quality Able to manage several active projects simultaneously Strong interpersonal and communication skills & the ability to create, compose, & edit written materials. Ability to work well under pressure & often-tight deadlines.
