We are a well established and respected web design company that has a full time position available in mid June for an efficient, enthusiastic and committed Studio/Office Manager, who can also take charge of all bookkeeping.
You need to be a fast learner with great attention to detail and the ability to manage numerous tasks. It is essential that you have previous bookkeeping experience including invoice processing, maintaining sales and purchase ledgers, reconciliation and VAT return work. It is an advantage that you have experience of using MYOB and have strong Excel skills.
This is a great position that will also allow you to get involved in preparing and carrying out marketing initiatives, as well as writing new content to then update our website. Full training will be given.
Responsibilities: • Maintain the sales ledger - raising Invoices and responsible for processing all client payments. • Maintain the purchase ledger - paying bills promptly. • Bank reconciliations and VAT returns. • Managing the petty cash and maintaining supplies in the office. • Up-dating website information: responsible for writing content for case studies and latest events - uploading to website. • Registering client websites for awards. • Organising, streamlining and up-dating office systems. • Organising meeting room space for client meetings – ensuring that clients and directors/staff members have everything they need. • Diary management - booking internal and external meetings and phone conferences. • General administrative duties and supporting staff members. • Organising Directors’ schedules. • Arrange monthly social events for staff members. • Answering the phone and taking details of new business calls.
Working hours are Monday to Friday – 9am to 6pm - 40 hours per week.
You will be working from our vibrant and friendly office.
Bookeeper, Office Manager Required Skills:
Your essential attributes: • Extensive IT skills, including MYOB, Excel and Word. • You are confident working with figures and have excellent attention to detail. • Good general administrative skills. • Strong communication skills, ability to communicate well over the phone and face to face. • Ability to think, plan and act proactively. • You enjoy working on your own initiative as well as part of a small team • Flexible with time and activities if necessary. • You are motivated to work towards furthering the success of the company • You have knowledge of the Internet and are interested in technology • Ability to work in an environment listening to a range of music
You may have worked in the following capacities: Accounts Administrator, Sales Ledger, Purchase Ledger, Office Administrator
