Assessor, NVQ Assessor - Hospitality (front and back of house) - Birmingham

One of the UK's largest NVQ training providers are looking to grow their team of Hospitality NVQ Assessors covering Birmingham. This rewarding role will allow you to draw on your experience of the hospitality industry to provide professional assessment and support to learners in their workplaces, enabling them to realise their career potential. Previous assessing experience is not essential. This is an excellent opportunity if you are looking for a career change, and the opportunity to work for a large organisation who can provide full support in obtaining the D32/33/A1 qualifications. This vacancy would suit someone who is currently working in a hotel or restaurant environment at a supervisory level and is looking for a change.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Visiting learners in the workplace and assessing / tutoring them in their NVQ qualifications - Maintaining documentation on learners' records - Creating learner portfolios to agreed standards
This role will suit an excellent communicator who has experience of the hospitality industry (front and back of house) and is looking to work with and support learners. It is essential that you are able to work independently, managing your own time and travelling within the Birmingham region to visit different workplaces.
You will receive an excellent salary and benefits package, including:
- Basic starting salary of 18,000 (increasing to 18,500 after 6 months) - 25 days holiday - 35p per mile when travelling on business - Contributory company pension scheme - Access to a flexible benefits scheme - Bonus Scheme - Company car after 18 months
