* Excellent opportunity for an accomplished Process Engineer to support our client's manufacturing line for resolving of process related issues in a timely manner ensuring downtime encountered is minimal * You will play a proactive role in developing a positive safety & environmental culture to satisfy ISO 140001 requirements * We are keen to hear from Process Engineers with strong analytical & problem solving ability * An appreciation of practical & theoretical methodologies is also essential * Must have a creative approach to job related specific tasks * Able to critically analyse technical drawings/manuals * Knowledge of scientific experimentation techniques * Proactive, capable of working without direct supervision * Good Communication skills; Decisive, accurate, creative & forward thinking In this varied & challenging role the Process Engineer will: * Monitor manufacturing data through statistical process control techniques to ensure excursions from the normal are reacted too quickly & countermeasures implemented to prohibit further excursions * Proactively identify/implement process improvements in order to increase efficiency, yield & reduce operating costs * Assist in meeting engineering group's key performance indicators * Active role in yield improvement activities, working closely with device, yield & development engineers * The right applicant will demonstrate, through problem solving, new product introductions & continuous improvement activities an understanding of how variations in process conditions may affect product performance
