A leading bio-technology company seek an experienced Financial Analyst to support Project Managers in looking at billings to external clients.
Responsibilities: - Ensure appropriate revenue recognition (SAB101 compliant) is performed - Identify trends impacting revenue recognition and profitability - Participate in the review and control of unbilled and A/R aging - Responsible for review of PERFORM URR accuracy - Maintaining compliance with respect to SAB101 and Sarbanes-Oxley - Assist in the preparation of financial reports and analysis as requested - Perform ad-hoc presentations to operations - Assist in quarterly and year end audits where requested - Preparation of spreadsheets and other tools used in the monthly close process
Experience/Qualifications: - BS or BA degree in Finance, Accounting or Business, CIMA or ACCA (part qualified) or equivalent - Firm understanding of accounting concepts and experience with accounting information systems (Oracle Financials experience preferred) - Well-experienced with Microsoft suite of products (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook) (advanced Access and Excel skills preferred) - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
