Area Sales Manager - Pumps and Systems
Our client is one of the UK’s largest Pump distributors with offices throughout the UK. Due to recent expansion they now require a Sales Manager to promote their products and services in the North East of England. Ideally you will have Sales experience gained with a pump manufacturer or distributor This is an excellent opportunity to progress with this rapidly expanding company.
An understanding of pump selection/application, both centrifugal and positive displacement, and knowledge of the local Industrial, Water, Oil & Gas HVAC and HPI markets would be advantageous.
Ideally you will have gained external sales experience with similar products be influential, confident and an excellent communicator with a recognised mechanical engineering background.
The primary functions of the role are to secure business for both new equipment and repair/overhaul services dealing with clients, at all levels, within the North East of the UK.
Candidates must demonstrate they are methodical, have a structured approach, be able to respond under time pressures and maintain good communications and relations with customers.
Remuneration: Basic Salary is negotiable to c35k p.a. plus car and bonus. In addition the successful candidates will receive a comprehensive benefits package and excellent promotional prospects.
