An experienced Commercial Manager is required to further business development within an established company.
The right candidate will have previous experience in bid and proposal preparation, preferably in the government sector. The company are looking to maximise sales through the preparation and submission of professionally prepared, concise and competitive proposals and bids maximising profitability.
Responsibilities:-Assist and positively influence the development and qualification of sales opportunities. -Develop bid strategy where required. Preparing, coordinating and submitting technical and commercial offers, and bid responses. -Leading a cross-functional team through the bid management process as required. Identifying and putting in place teaming agreements with 3rd parties as necessary. -Create financial models, propose offer. Identify the financial, legal and commercial risk profile for each opportunity, propose and agree risk profile with line management. -Secure acceptable and authorised contract agreements with Customers, partners and suppliers, negotiating where required to do so. -Where necessary liaise with customer and internally for design and other sales requirements.
Requirements:-Previous experience in bid and proposal preparation, preferably in the government sector. -Language skills are advantageous. -Willingness to travel internationally. -High commercial acumen.
