• An agency background will be essential experience for the position. A financial background or dealing with financial clients would be an advantage also.
• Ideally, this person will have been running similar sized accounts for at least one year (preferably two or more) with a proven track record of delivery and client satisfaction.
• The person must fully understand digital channel integration from an operational and communications context and will have experience of developing and delivering integrated digital strategies.
• Ideally the person will have gained a broad base of experience including site re-design, email marketing, online advertising, search engine marketing and optimization and mobile marketing as well as web 2.0 platforms.
• This person will need to understand digital technology and be confident when talking about its uses and applications
• They must be confident enough to engage the client on a strategic level, acting as their trusted and respected partner.
• They should stimulate ideas and discussion on industry ideas and future trends.
• A good grounding in managing costs is essential.
