Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Ensure that all costs are within budget and targets;2. Regular reconciliation of cash and borrowers balances with manual records and excel; 3. Daily posting service charge, loan repayments and other transactions in sage; 4. Prepare monthly and annual financial statements and other reports; 5. Regular calculation and preparation of payroll sheet, bonuses for the staff; 6. Deal with ministry of finance department in respective region for all taxations; 7. Keeping record of all office supplies; 8. Ensure timely to obtain the weekly guesthouse expenses report (if applicable) 9. Carry out any other tasks given by the manager, assistant manager and office supervisor. Qualifications required: Education: The ideal candidate should possess a widely recognized Accounting Degree Work Experience: The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of work experience in accounting with widely recognized NGO (preferably with Microfinance institutions). Experience of Sage software is an asset. Skills: The ideal candidate should have good command on written and writing English; proficient with spreadsheet and word documents. Good computing literacy, demonstrated ability to play with figures, demonstrated arithmetical and calculation skills. Personal Traits: Good presentation and excellent courtesy attitude. Serious and rigorous. Able to detect mistakes and take corrective steps. |
