Senior Power Electronics Engineer

Description : The candidate will have detailed knowledge of IGBT inverter drives and motor control, with power ranges from 30kW to 500kW. Reporting to the Head of R&D, the successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of the specification, design, and development of the flywheel electrical drive system, as well as its’ interface to the customers system. Working within a small team, you will interface directly with the mechanical design team, as well as liaising with the customer to produce an integrated solution. Knowledge of Matlab/Simulink, Labview, and C would be a distinct advantage.
