An opportunity exists for a degree-qualified individual to join this team as a Principal Civil or Structural Engineer in a team responsible for the structural integrity management of a number of offshore platforms, on behalf of a major international oil and gas operator. Responsibilities As Principal Civil or Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for managing a small team of full-time engineers and other specialists as required. The role includes: Supervision of structural engineering consultancy work for all types of offshore structures including fixed, floating and subsea elements, ensuring the provision of efficient high quality structural engineering Project management of consultancy agreement with typical annual revenue equal to GBP 500,000 Maintaining and developing client relationships Preparation of pre-qualification responses, proposals and tenders Meeting cost and time targets to assist internal process in delivering high quality consultancy services to oil and gas industry clients Preparation of business reports, plans, budgets and marketing plans Skills: Requirements Essential Honours Degree (or equivalent) in Civil, Structural or Offshore Engineering Chartered in a relevant Engineering Discipline Substantial structural engineering experience incl |
