Our Client is currently seeking an experienced Electrical Designer in the design of electrical systems for institutional and commercial projects. (Management Position's also available)

Key Responsibilities:

o Design electrical drawings for institutional and commercial facilities according to British Colunbia and local codes and standards.

o Participate in large project teams and manage assignments within overall framework.

o Design illumination diagrams, life safety systems, and all other electrical drawings for projects with local codes and standards.

o Participate and recommend the selection of equipment.

o Provide field supervision, where required.

o Position may require occasional travel to various job sites, other offices, and at times other cities.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Applied Science and/or equivalent work experience.

Excellent communication skills. Designer must communicate professionally and effectively with clients, contractors, peer consultants and fellow employees through various formal documents, e-mail, on the phone, or in person.

Superior time management skills. Designer will work on multiple projects for multiple managers with specific time allotments for each as outlined in Project Data Sheets.

Experience Designing as per above responsibilities in a consulting environment in British Columbia.
