The Management Accountant will be responsible for all aspects of internal financial control, the monthly and year-end management accounts and the delivery and development of core management information within the Managing Contract Business Unit. Essential Requirements CIMA Qualified Sufficient and relevant experience of working in a financial and commercial environment Experience of managing financial systems and processes and an enthusiasm for continuous improvement. Staff Management experience. The ability to work with high volumes of data in spreadsheet format Experience of producing monthly management accounts and associated commentaries You will also: Have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Enjoy working in a cross-functional environment Be IT literate - you must be an advanced user of Microsoft Excel Have the ability to work autonomously and use your own initiative Key Responsibilities Direct management of a Finance Team of 4, which incorporates coaching, regular feedback and performance reviews Production and interpretation of core financial information Providing financial support during financial audits for key external customers Production of management accounts including journal preparation and balance sheet reconciliations Regular review and documentation of internal financial processes and entry onto the Business Management System.
