My Client a global player in oil and gas is looking for a Naval Architect.

Candidate must have over 6 years of relevant experience.

Must have hands on experience in Software such as :
MOSES / SACS / FASTRUDL / ANSYS / COSMOS / ORCAFLEX etc.

Responsibilities :

Designing, and review of Naval Architectural designs.
Identifying and preparing specifications for the Naval Architectural aspects related to the Company's products.
Performing finite element analysis of critical structural components and applying the results to the design.
Analysis and determination of the dimensions, properties, motions, loads and characteristics pertinent to Naval Architectural considerations.( Such as ?EURO ? Mooring analysis, Stability calculations for barges / Vessels, Barge strength calculations,
Hydrodynamics, Calculation of RAOs, Vessel Accelerations, Installation engineering etc..)
Recommending and following all quality assurance and safety factors / requirements applicable to the design.
Performing Naval Architectural calculations and designs in conformance with all the applicable and relevant legislation, standards and codes.
Liaison with classification societies and other regulatory bodies involved with the safety, integrity and legality of the Company's structures.
