My client is looking for a project running quantity surveyor to look after several refurbishment and new build projects around the North-West area. The projects are roughly worth GBP 3 million per project. The surveyor will have a Commercial Manager to report to on a weekly basis but they must feel comfortable to work alone. The chosen surveyor will feel comfortable with all the basics such as site and drawing measurements, take offs and dealing with clients as they will be expected to be able to work alone as well as under a Senior. The ideal candidate will have 2 - 3 years experience with a main contractor and will be in the last year of their degree or be degree qualified. The ideal candidate will have design and build, refurbishment and steel frame experience.

Ideally 3 - 5 years experience must be from a pure contracting background and all applicants must have refurbishment and new build experience. Ideally applicants will have a BSc in quantity surveying or construction related degree or a HNC or studying towards an HNC but this is not essential. All applicants must be willing to travel throughout North-West.

Up to GBP 35,000 depending on experience plus 8% bonus.
