| Job Reference: VP65785T The Role A vacancy has arisen for a Surveying Manager working for a leading Main Northwest contractor. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading, managing and supporting pre and post contract commercial activities across a portfolio of client's and/ or projects. This role reports to the Commercial Manager / Regional Commercial Director and Commercial Director. Key Accountabilities include: o Creating, developing and implementing training programmes to enhance the performance of self and commercial teams. o Ensuring commercial teams are motivated, engaged and clear on objectives. o Understanding project risks and opportunities and setting clear performance targets for group/business unit procurement plans, tender profit plans, programmes, project and group financial reports and contractual obligations. o Providing coaching where appropriate for policies and best practice, enabling development opportunities. o Contributing to and understanding tender strategy. o Ensuring project accountabilities are completed with Construction Manager. o Reviewing all project financial reports and submitting to business unit / group as appropriate. o Ensuring project strategies are developed to maximise all opportunities including turnover, cash, profit, customer satisfaction and repeat business. o Ensuring all main contract and sub contract documentation complies with current regulation and group policy.
