Hitachi Data Systems is a fully owned subsidiary of Hitachi LTD, a leading Global Manufacturer of new technology. As the Danish subsidiary of Hitachi Data Systems we service the Danish and the Norwegian operations, from our main office in Nærum.

We are looking for a Business/Finance Controller to be the recognized owner of a diverse range of responsibilities to support the local Finance Director, ranging from traditional accounting disciplines through to deal analysis.

The Business/Finance Controller responsibilities will include reviewing reconciliations, month end closing, and management reporting (actual, budget and forecast)

The Business Analyst focused responsibilities will include analyzing business deals and making sure that they comply with HDS internal rules and regulations. Extensive support will be available from colleagues in the UK Headquarters to perform these tasks.

Furthermore in the last year Hitachi data Systems has established a Shared Service Center in Poland to own the day to day processing of the financial transactions. Ideally we would like the person to have had some experience with this kind of setup and related processes and controls.

Process improvements are ongoing, and part of the day to day job. We would expect the Controller to play a key part in refining and developing operational efficiency with new ideas and initiatives are always welcome.

Personal Attributes

• Ideally a bachelor in economics (HD) or similar degree, as well as 5-10 years of relevant experience.

• Experience working with a SSC would be a key advantage..

• We expect you to have experience with payroll processing, Multidata and the basic rules for vacation (ferieloven), A-skat and so forth.

• Proactive with good listening and cooperation skills

• Strong time management with the ability to prioritize tasks and thrive in a busy environment.

• Familiar with usage of the MS Office

• Due to the communication requirements across the region we would require fluency in English, written and spoken
