My client is a fast-growing, dynamic IA Consultancy offering a number of consultancy and managed services to established clients within the Central Government and local government as well as in the private sector. They have an immediate opportunity for an experienced information risk consultant to join their fast-growing team. You will be an existing CLAS member with excellent communication skills and a good understanding of business and technical information security concepts including risk management, defence in depth and accredited certification. You will be able to work well with client personnel up to senior Civil Servant and Director level. You will be based from home with travel to client sites. You will be very familiar with security standards (ISO27001, MoPS / SPF, PCI DSS) and have a good understanding of the latest versions of IS1 and IS2, the SPF (and previously MoPS), RMADS generation, security architecture assessment and accreditation and a well rounded knowledge within the Information Security arena. Strong managerial and commercial expertise is important and knowledge of any the following is desirable but not essential: IFOSEC, MPS, COMSEC, JSP440/480. Ideally you will currently hold DV Level Security Clearance but consideration will be given to suitably qualified candidates with SC Level Clearance. Relevant qualifications such as ITPC / IISP, CISSP, CISM and ISO27001 Lead Auditor are particularly of interest.
