A civils main contractor is currently recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor to strengthen there commercial division for projects in and around the East Midlands area near Northampton on a roads and highways scheme worth GBP 4.5m in project value.

Reporting directly to the commercial manager this role will involve managing contracts and performing such tasks as site measures, valuations, sub-contractor payments, variation accounts, contractual notice and correspondance, checking and assisting in the production of tender documentation, preparation of pre-qualifications and monthly reports, forecasts and final accounts.

Candidates must have experience at a similar level working for a civil contractor. A Quantity Surveying qualification will be Preffered along with an understanding on NEC, JCT and ICE form of contract.
