My Client is looking for an experienced rail professional with a good understanding of the rail industry who can help to drive the further development of their rail offering. The Business Manager role requries an individual with an excellent commercial awareness as well as the ability to promote the skills and capabilities of a business.
Preferably you will be degree qualified, however applicants with relevant experience will be considered.
Successful candidates should have:
o A good overall understanding of the rail industry with the ability to align our corporate objectives and technical skills to meet industry requirements
o Good project management discipline
o The ability to interpret clients technical needs
o Experience of preparation of proposals
o Experience of technical leadership on projects
o Ability to develop marketing campaign plans
o Experience of developing client relationships
o Understanding of safety management, RAMs, mechanical and electrical engineering disciplines
o Commercial awareness with the ability to make commercial decisions to meet the aspirations of the clients and the business
Person Specification
You must possess an excellent understanding of the rail industry including rolling stock and infrastructure.
