| Job Reference: VP66112T Working within the Rail division of the leading rail industry consultancy, this role involves working on an array of railway electrical design projects that have an impact on the daily lives of millions of people. The role will provide sound technical skills to ensure client's specifications are fully met and that project requirements are delivered in accordance with budget and programme. Requirements o Incorporated Engineer (IEng)o . or equivalent experience. Degree/HNC qualifiedo or equivalent experience. o Experience of Designing low voltage railway engineering design, including lighting, points heating and signalling power schemes. o Previous experience of HV projects desirable. o Familiarity with 16th / 17th Editions BS7671 o Use of Calculation Software Membership of a relevant professional organisation o Detailed knowledge of UK rail industry practice and railway standards. o Experience in the coordination of design production by junior designers. o Computer literate with MS Word and other MS Office modules. o Ideally competent in the production of drawings using CAD software. o Be willing to undertake site surveys and site supervision duties when required, working unsocial hours if required. o Driving licence desirable.
