A new opening in a world leading multidisciplinary engineering consultancy. The requirement is for a process engineer to work on energy from waste and other power generation projects in Scotland.

Duties and Responsibilities

The Senior Process Engineer will be required to undertake project management, engineering design and computer simulation modelling as part of a growing team producing work for the power industry.

Work will typically include:

Leadership of Projects and Project Teams
liaison with Clients
feasibility and conceptual design studies
site survey and inspection activities
analysis and design
specification writing
trouble shooting and problem-solving
technical due-diligence advice

Requirements

Suitable candidates will possess the following:

Suitable Degree in Chemical Engineering
Working towards Chartered status
A reasonable level of relevant industrial experience since graduation
Please note that due to the nature of our clients' work, candidates will need to meet certain nationality and residency criteria to attain a minimum level of UK security clearance.

We are particularly interested in individuals with consultancy/contracting experience in design, installation, commissioning, operating and maintenance of process plant equipment.

Experience in the following areas is highly desirable:

Power
Nuclear
Generation
Biomass/energy from waste experience
