ROLE: The successful applicant will assist and support in the implementation of Regional, Channel and Product Sales through a mutual marketing strategy that recognises the specific needs of different customers and channels. You will seek to maximise the opportunity from each segment and be responsible for communicating and aligning customer needs with product management to assist in achieving the overall financial objectives for Product Group and Sales in the Retail business-to-consumer (B2C) channel. RESPONSIBILITIES: a) Support the Sales Development Manager to achieve the sales budget in line with the sales and marketing strategy. b) Liaise directly with product management to ensure appropriate resources are available to achieve sales budget and support local business request. c) Research best practise and promote use of effective sales and marketing tools. Evaluate how well the channels meet customer needs now and in the future. d) Support the Sales Manager in the development of effective reporting of sales results and related information. e) Ensure that all Sales and Marketing teams are in procession of relevant marketing and support materials to allow for the effective launch, promotion and phase out of products. f) Research, collate and gather marketing intelligence on relevant competitors and market developments, analyse and report. g) Carry out customer profitability analysis and identify and prioritise segments based upon the business opportunity. h) Assist in the development of value propositions for targeted business areas and products and segments. ESSENTIAL SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: a) You MUST have excellent strategic senior sales management experience in B2C/FMCG within Europe or global territory to be considered for this role. b) Experience managing, influencing and coaching sales teams and analysing sales strategies. c) Strong strategic analytical and reporting skills with experience in gathering and manipulating data d) Good communicator of complex ideas with strong commercial awareness and aptitude. e) Other European languages are very desirable.
