The ideal candidate will be comfortable with the following:
?Leading the finance acute team on the finance aspects of contract management and data validation
?Experience of contract management and data challenges
?Working with Commissioners and providing sound financial advice
?Knowledge of tariff pricing, especially with the move from HRG 3.5 to HRG4
?Senior management accounts experience, to be able to assess risk, budgetary controls, etc

The following skills are essential:
?Extensive and detailed knowledge of PbR
?Understanding of SUS data : what is it, how it gets input, and it?s use in conjunction with SLAM reports
?Experience of working with information and commissioning teams
?Significant experience of monitoring acute hospital contracts
?Understanding of working with Acute trusts to resolve issues
?Understanding of SLAs, ensuring that activity is coded and costed correctly
?Confident in working with commissioners, directors, etc
