| Retail Channel Sales Director (Consumer Electronics), 60/70k+ Do you have excellent pan-European senior retail channel sales experience in consumer electronics? SALARY: Negotiable, in excess of 60/70k Basic + 30% OTE + company car/car allowance. BENEFITS: Excellent benefits available. LOCATION: Field based throughout the UK and EMEA territory. The head office is based in Middlesex/West London and the successful candidate will be based out of the office approx 2 days a week. COMPANY: Our client is a respected global leader in consumer electronics. ROLE: This is a new and exciting role for an experienced European Channel Account Director to manage a large consumer electronic retailer in Europe, Middle East and Africa. To succeed you will need to have proven experience in effective leadership, sales and customer relationship skills at an international level. This is a senior management position with a significant impact on European business and achievement of profit and revenue targets. You will be responsible for a dedicated team of Key Account Managers and Account Managers based throughout EMEA who will support you. You will need to demonstrate proven effective leadership and coaching skills to motivate and develop your direct team as well as forge strong relationships internally with the head office, country CEOs and sales teams. RESPONSIBILITIES: a) Financial Management: sales and account/product profitability; budgeting, planning and forecasting for the respective account. b) High-level Account Management developing strong relationships with the client and internal departments throughout EMEA. c) Leading, developing, motivating and coaching team account managers across Europe. d) Consistently monitoring account status by weekly sell-out/stock reports, internal share trends and account margin simulations. e) Devising and implementing a channel plan to match business requirements and value propositions. f) Managing potential impacts of European activities on local markets. g) Other responsibilities as determined by the business. ESSENTIAL SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: a) You must have experience in Director level, Business to Consumer (B2C) retail sales within Europe in consumer electronics in order to be shortlisted for this position. b) You must have team management experience, remote management is ideal. c) Track record of success in fast-paced, high-growth, independent environment. d) Other European languages are very desirable. e) Full UK driver’s license and flexibility for extensive travel and nights away.
