Our client is well known European Consulting Engineer's firm with strong presence in Africa and Asia. Our client specialises in design and supervision of works in transport and hydraulic infrastructure. Their Clients include major Governments and Banks like the the World Bank, Asian Development Bank, African Development Bank and the European Union.

Project:

The highway is 398 Km long and should last for about 20-24 months

Qualifications and Experience: You will have a degree in Geology or Civil Engineering. This should be followed by an MSc in Engineering Geology, Geotechnical Engineering or similar discipline. You must be a graduate member of a relevant professional body working towards chartered status (CGeol or CEng). In terms of professional experience you must be an expert in embankments, geotechnical aspects of highways, including landslides and soil compressibility with more than 15 years experience..

Duties and Responsibilities:

*Geotechnical design and slope stability analysis
*Preparation of desk studies
*Production of geotechnical reports
*Use of relevant geotechnical software
*Working on highways schemes
*Embankments
*Landslides and soil compressibility.
