One of the UK's largest and most diverse energy companies in the UK, who own and operate the electricity transmission and distribution networks across the North of Scotland, and are responsible for maintaining, repairing and updating these networks is currently looking to expand their team with the addition of a Project Design Engineer. This applicant must have experienced in formulating detailed specifications for transmission projects.

The role requires applicants with the following:
- Electrical design skills, and construction experience associated with transmission projects,
- The ability to formulate detailed specifications for transmission projects
- Knowledge of plant and equipment standards and specifications for transmission overhead lines, substations or cables
- Qualification in Electrical Engineering

The successful candidate will be employed as an Electrical Project Design Engineer; responsible for successfully delivering the transmission projects to cost/budget/ standard/specification during the design and construction phases. Providing detailed design and construction of transmission (400/275/132kv) schemes involving consultees on design and construction aspects of these projects.

The salary is 40k basic + car/allowance + bonus + share scheme + contributory pension 3%-9% + energy discounts + health care + benefits
