| Bookkeeper required to work for my client based in Rochdale. This is a varied all-round accounts role in which you will be required to complete purchase ledger, sales ledger and credit control duties in addition to this you will be responsible for payroll, and VAT and tax returns. You will be working alongside one other person within accounts. The role itself is a permanent position, my client is ideally looking for someone to work on there own initiative and needs them to come in and hit the ground running. You should have previous experience of working in a bookkeeper role and have a working knowledge of a computerised accounts package. Previous experience of Sage Line 50 and/or Sage Payroll would be particularly beneficial. You should be very organised, be able to work to tight deadlines and knowledge of VAT is ideal. My client is ideally looking for someone who can come in and hit the ground running as this will be a sole position as accounts are currently outsourced.
