Accounts Assistant

Description : Treasury Assistant required for 12 month contract to process reports from the company's electronic banking system and complete all daily forecasts of bank balances and estimate the final cash position. You will review and process all transfer payments on the company's electronic banking system and ensure that they are checked, authorised and sent in accordance with company authorisation procedures. You will ensure all cash and cheque receipts are received, banked and updated on a daily basis. You will reconcile live transmission reports of BACS, standing orders and any unpaid BACS.

The successful Treasury Assistant will be immediately available and must have a background within accounts as well as a good understanding of company bank accounts / general ledger structures and how this supports cash flow within an organisation. Knowledge of general ledger procedures including data entry, control and authorisation procedures within a company. Ideally you will be AAT qualified or studying with strong IT skills including Excel. You will be motivated to achieve high standards of work and personally looking to grow your experience and career within a blue chip organisation.
