| Bookkeeper required for my retail client based in central Stockport. You will be responsible for preparing management accounts to trial balance stage and balance sheet reconciliations. You will also be responsible for the whole purchase ledger function, production of foreign supplier payments, posting of bank payment transactions and bank reconciliations, maintenance of excel based fixed asset schedules, preparation of accruals & prepayments, preparation of VAT returns and maintenance of hire purchase and loan accounts. We are looking for candidates that are AAT qualified. You must have all round experience and must be able to take accounts up to trial balance. You must have experience Sage line 50 and have really strong Excel skills. You must be a strong team player. My client is a growing retail business based in the heart of Stockport town centre. They are experiencing a rapid period of growth at the moment and offer clear progression paths for the right candidates. They are based in central Stockport close to all transport links and have free parking.Only applicants with a suitable amount of UK based finance experience and who have a legal right to work within the UK will be considered. |
