| Reporting Accountant required: You must have the acumen to identify and highlight financial risk within the business and will liaise with the external auditors on a regular basis. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for providing VAT and accounting standards advice to the company and also calculate corporation tax and deferred tax for group and statutory reporting. Preparing cash flow forecasts and ensuring cash facilities are not exceeded is also an important part of the role. Good systems skills including Cognos reporting software and Excel skills are advantageous. Ideally you will be a qualified chartered accountant , although our client will also look at a CIMA qualified Accountant. You will also have strong technical skills and be able to take the initiative and improve processes and systems. Our client is a household name in the service industry, within the Nottingham area of East Midlands. They are looking to recruit a qualified accountant into this technical role to ensure all internal, group, external and statutory financial reporting is completed accurately and to tight deadlines.Only applicants with a suitable amount of UK based finance experience and who have a legal right to work within the UK will be considered. |
