| Assistant Financial Accountant required to attend to the following duties: To perform the preparation of the monthly financial activity relating to general ledger, including posting journals and balance sheet reconciliations, preparation of monthly control pack, maintenance of the fixed asset register, manage the completion of the businesses VAT return and liaise with the Tax department regarding intrastats and reporting, adhoc financial accounting and project work The candidate will be studying towards the CIMA or ACCA qualification with a view to qualifying long term, or be at AAT qualified wanting to continue studying a professional qualification in accountancy. You will also posses a strong background of financial experience , with strong Excel skills Our client is a large Manufacturing business based in Nottingham. This opportunity can give the right candidate an excellent opportunity, to be part of a large business, within a varied and hands on role. This is a newly created role within the department , so the successful candidate could make this role 'their own'.Only applicants with a suitable amount of UK based finance experience and who have a legal right to work within the UK will be considered. |
