| Fund Accounts Assistant required for a 6 month fixed term contract (with a view to going permanent on completion of the project) to join a vibrant Financial Services organisation. You will be required to ensure the efficient daily operation of Investment Accounting, obtaining and processing data from the fund managers and custodians to provide accurate and timely output and summarise daily, the cash position for various funds. You will be required to establish and maintain lines of contact with various external fund managers, custodians, various internal departments. The ideal candidate will be Immediately available or on a short notice period. You will have experience of working in Investment Accounting environments or a Investment/ accounting qualification. Strong communication skills are essential along with strong IT skills (Excel, Access & Word). You must have knowledge of operation of general ledgers including data entry, journal preparation and production of reports. Knowledge of double entry bookkeeping ideally relating to investments.
