Security Clearance will be required for this role - threfore you must have lived in the UK for a minimum of 5 years.

Duties to include:

Design and implementation of architectures in FPGA to carry out high specification signal processing for customer delivery and to build internal IP portfolio.

Implementation of required controllers and interfaces.

Integration of existing IP blocks into larger entities.

Generation of integrated FPGA design solutions targeted at specific FPGA/board platforms for supply to customers.

Testing of cores / FPGA designs both in simulation and on target platforms.

Additional technical responsibilities:

Input into system design.
Input into board design / interfacing.
Detailed customer support for existing designs.
Integration of FPGA designs onto target platforms.

In addition, the following sales support and customer liaison tasks apply:

Provision of rapid technical responses to specific customer enquiries.

Support in preparation of sales and marketing literature.

Assisting with the preparation of new sales bids, including technical proposals, interpretation of customer specifications and cost estimating.

Customer liaison for assigned projects.

Project management tasks for assigned projects including:
Preparing and maintaining project plans.
Maintaining cost and timescale control
Oversight of assigned project engineers.
Generating appropriate project documentation, including:
o technical specifications.
o requirement specifications.
o test specifications.
o datasheets/user guides.
