Our client is a software house specialising in the supply of services and products to the benefit administration market. They are a dynamic young company, with an established and growing client base including many household names and FTSE 100 companies. Our client is based in attractive premises near the centre of Bath, with an informal but hard-working office environment.

As part of their continuing growth they are seeking to recruit an experienced developer.

Position: Developer / Programmer
Location: Bath, Somerset
Salary: 25-35K plus benefits (including 25 days holiday).

ROLE:
This role will involve you coding to specifications and writing specifications for new functionality, as well as designing and implementing solutions for clients, all within a fast-paced environment where excellence is the standard.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
a) Candidates will have proven experience primarily in Delphi and T-SQL and ideally one or more of the following languages: C#, VBScript, JavaScript. Visual Studio.NET.
b) Educated to degree level in a relevant subject.
b) Good communicators, both internally and with clients.
c) Clear logical thinkers with a proven track record in software development.
d) Self-motivated and capable of independent working and having a desire to solve problems and see projects through to a successful conclusion.

DESIRABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
a) ASP.NET skills will also be advantageous.
b) Analysis experience, especially in HR or finance software applications is highly desirable.
