My client is a leading consultancy employing over 10,000 staff throughout Europe. Their core sectors include roads, local transport, rail, water, aviation, technology, communications and contract services. They are looking to recruit a Senior Transport Planner to be based out of their Leeds office.

Role
Your responsibilities will include acting as a senior client facing entity in the business, delivering projects and maintaining local government and public transport private sector contacts in order to maximise my client's work-winning opportunities. You will work closely with the regional business managers/teams to support national initiatives and to raise perception and profile of my client in order to maximise national opportunities.

Candidate
The successful candidate should be a positive leader with previous experience of delivering and managing major integrated transport projects for both public and private sector clients successfully. You should also have knowledge of the transport planning discipline from master planning, public transport operation, integrated demand management and sustainable transport strategies to support development. Experience of working with regional Development Agencies, Urban Regeneration Council and knowledge of transport legislation, policy and procedures at local, regional and national levels is also desirable.
