Account Manager - Direct and Data Driven Marketing My client, a UK leader in direct and data driven marketing, is looking for an experienced direct marketer to join their expanding team as an Account Manager in East Grinstead. As Account Manager you will be responsible for the operational day-to-day running of client accounts. It is usual to have responsibility for two or more clients and so you need to be able to prioritise workload and multitask in a busy and often pressured environment. You will be joining an established, professional and hard working team who have built up an excellent reputation both within the company and with clients. QUALIFICATIONS Ideally you will have the following: 8226; Educated to Degree level or equivalent 8226; GCSE's or equivalent in English and Maths - Grade B or above SKILLS & EXPERIENCE 8226; You will have experience of working within a direct marketing and database environment, preferably in a client facing role ideally at Account Manager level. 8226; You will need a strong understanding of data driven marketing. 8226; Experience of using tools to extract and process data for direct marketing campaigns (Alterian & Epiphany preferable but knowledge of any analysis, data exploration, reporting or campaign management tools is useful) 8226; Understanding of the campaign process including selections, list building, suppressions, control cells etc 8226; Understanding of relational databases and data structures 8226; Ability to support client queries regarding campaign selections, use of tools or data integrity 8226; Ability to discuss data issues with clarity and confidence to people with varying levels of technical understanding. 8226; Excellent client facing skills, including presentations, proposals and problem solving 8226; Responsibility for status meetings and for proposing/progressing a |
