Qualifications - Excellent educational track record, minimum of physics/engineering degree (or equivalent), PhD qualification

The centre consists of some 700 research scientists and engineers, mainly located in France, Germany, Spain, and UK. Innovation Works is organised into transnational Technical Capability Centres (TCC's). The TCC for Energy and Propulsion is newly launched, and is lead from the UK with team members in France and Germany. It works with Universities, Suppliers, and Research Organisations to develop new technologies and innovative approaches for all Business Units.

Role Description :-
This is a new role to support the energy and power management architectures work within EADS Innovation Works UK, as part of a transnational team

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new research proposals leading research projects, including the management of sub-contractors, and external suppliersx2026; conducting power generation research in conjunction with other elements of Innovation Works, and business unitsx2026; extending knowledge of power generation, energy and environmental topics technology transfer into the business unitsx2026; developing the international reputation of the centre
The candidate must be able to work within an international team environment, and must be prepared to travel overseas when required
